John’s passion to serve others not only has impacted countless families and colleagues in his 34-years of teaching elementary education, but also as a Realtor helping our clients gain a better understanding of the home buying and selling process. With over 1,000 lakes in the county, John’s 11 years of service as an Otter Tail County Water Patrol Deputy provided him with an intimate knowledge of the lakes and rivers the area is known for. John enjoys sharing that knowledge and experience with the Ryan Hanson Homes Team and using it to assist our clients in finding their perfect place.
Growing up in a family with five children and additional foster brothers and sisters helped shape John’s desire to be of service to others. He poured that desire into students and faculty over the course of his teaching career and our real estate clients benefit from his humble desire to make an impact. The attention to detail and commitment to providing each client with a positive experience is what attracted John to Ryan Hanson Homes and he is thrilled to be part of a dynamic real estate team with cutting edge technology, ongoing training and superb client support.
When John isn’t actively working for clients, he has many hobbies. He can be found spending time with his family at their generational lake place, hunting upland game, fishing, restoring an old Honda motorcycle or playing with his dogs.
